The floor takes 24 hours to dry and must not be walked on during this period. No furniture must be placed on the newly finished floor for 72 hours. The floor should only have light use for the first 7 days to ensure the floor coatings cure properly.

On average, sanding and polishing is a 2-4 day process from start to finish.

Yes, however it is not recommended. Access to the floors will be restricted because of the need for a certain amount of drying time each day.

Recommended 48 hours after the final coat is applied (with protective felts under all furniture). Large area rugs need to be kept off the floor for the first 30 days. Use a breathable perforated rubber pad under rugs.

You have a choice of a matt, satin, semi-gloss, gloss or high gloss finish for your floor.​

• A completely dust free finish. It is impossible to have a completely clean room environment and so there will always be some dust particles in the air which may settle on wet coating. This is why we have spray booth on cars​
• Removal of deep cuts such are those from carpet trimming knives or deep gouges in the boards​
• Removal of stains such as animal urine stains and water marks from within the boards and around the nail holes​
• Filling of gaps between the boards. These gaps are not filled because subsequent shrinkage and expansion in the timber will cause cracking in the filler​
• No responsibility will be taken for any movement of timber floor which may affect appearances or finish of floor​
• Do not expect boards damaged by borer to have same gloss level and same smooth feel as those without borer.​
• Do not expect any areas filled with putty to have the same feel as the timber after application of coatings​.
