Sanding

A full sand of your timber floor will remove scratches, dents and imperfections.

Our state of the art equipment, experience and individual techniques used to suit different timber species means that every floor is treated personally and exclusively to ensure the best possible result.

Polishing

Polishing your floor is where the real beauty of your timber floors are uncovered. We spend extra time and care polishing your timber floor to get the smoothest result and best feeling under foot.

We predominantly use polyurethane coatings.

Solvent based coatings provide a thick, hard wear layer and bring out a rich colour in your floor.

Water-based coatings provide you with a lighter looking floor and will be both non-toxic and non-yellowing.

Re-coating

Re-coating your floor refers to the light sand and application of new top coats to you floor. Traffic on your floors can weigh down that lustre that comes with your flooring over the years. The busier the room is, the more likely the floor is going to become dull and in turn, lower its quality. In some cases, you do not need to fully re-sand your floor, but rather renew its appearance. The key objective is to revive the floors and bring out the attractive features and textures. By re-coating, you will also be making cleaning a fast and easy process.

Staining

Staining refers to the change in appearance with a change in colour of your floors. Sometimes, you may just be tired of looking at the same flooring years on end. Rather than changing the entire floor, to spice things up, why not ask us about what difference staining your floor could make. Floor staining will add colour and can improve your floor’s texture.

Repairs and Maintenance

A less glamorous but very important thing to consider is whether a company does repair and maintenance. Damaged floorboards can be dangerous and left unattended can in some cases affect the structural integrity of you floor. Not only that but they also don’t always look the nicest and can take away from the overall beauty of your timber floor.

Riverina Floor Sanding are able to replace loose boards as well as restore damaged boards. By addressing these problems while they are still relatively minor, this can save a lot of trouble in future.
